Don't forget no 2pm class on Monday. All other classes as normal.
I have always enjoyed the world of dance and exercise,
so in 1995 I trained to be an Exercise to Music teacher with the YMCA.
I thoroughly enjoyed teaching aerobics and step classes and went on to
become qualified in ante and post natal fitness, together with 50+ exercise. Around 1998 I discovered Pilates, and although I must admit I just didn’t ‘get
it’ at first, after only a few sessions I started to feel changes in my own body that were different from any other exercise regime I'd followed before.
<I originally gained my mat teaching qualifications with The Pilates Institute
and Modern Pilates and, in 2006 I qualified with the internationally recognised Polestar Pilates. I have continued to undertake professional development with
regular basis.
I believe that you can only teach something you
have experienced yourself; and with this in mind I am committed to continually updating my training and expanding my understanding of the body in relation
to exercise.
